The Joyful Harvest Amulet is handmade from resin that has been used to preserve a small selection of handpicked dried plants and crafting goldleaf. It is supposed to capture the feelings of abundance and the joy of experiencing the warmth of the summer sun. To represent the grain from the first harvest a piece of wall-barley has been included, together with nettle blossoms and yarrow, which both have traditionally been used in herbal medicine. While nettle has a long history of being used for men's health, yarrow is known for alleviating period pain and in this case represents female health. All three plants can be found in abundance during early summer, up to Lughnasadh - the design inspiration for this amulet.

The amulet comes on a waxed cotton cord which is adjustable and has two wooden beads on the ends.
