The Loving Sea amulet is handmade from resin, with three tiny shells encased as well as some crafting gold leaf.
Seashells have a lot of magickal properties. They are associated with the goddess Aphrodite and as such symbols of love and passion. Being carried from one into the other by the tides, they connect earth and water and form a strong connection to the moon. Seashells are commonly placed on altars that have representations of the elements, to symbolise water. Due to their natural purpose, as the self-grown homes of shellfish, they also have a protective character.
